Here is the long version: every Tarot reader is different, so I’d like to take a moment to explain how I approach readings and what it is that I offer.
I consider Tarot to be a visual language, and my job is to translate what Tarot has to say to you. I don’t claim to be a psychic, although I do have my moments. What I’m here to do is facilitate a dialogue between you and the cards.
With that in mind, readings that cover past, present, and future are less along the lines of fortune-telling and more like illustrating where you’ve been, how you got to where you are now, what’s on your plate in this moment…
and then the future card(s) just indicate the most likely outcome of your current trajectory- ergo- what is in store for you if you don’t alter your current plans or change any of your attitudes, habits, and behavioral patterns. Sometimes this information is very metaphorical and abstract, sometimes it is quite literal!
The takeaway, though, is that you are empowered to change your future! If the outlook isn’t acceptable as-is then you have an opportunity to reevaluate the path you are on, and we can draw alternative outcome cards; for instance, “if I do B instead of A moving forward, how does that change my future?” “If I start practicing new habits or begin the work to unlearn behaviors that aren’t compatible with reaching my goals, where does that path lead instead?”
This is where a Tarot reading can be a really useful tool for introspection and leveling-up your life. Are you open to brainstorming? Are you willing to take a hard look at yourself and acknowledge where changes are necessary? Tarot and I can help you identify what aspects of your life require special attention and action, or lead you to discover a path you hadn’t considered before.
Readings are customized for each individual and compatible with any faith, spirituality or absence thereof. All that is required of you to have a good experience is an open mind and willingness to listen.
Private sessions involve several readings to cover all the critical facets of your experience individually and in depth. This costs includes a written outline of all the cards, meanings of positions, and keywords as an aid for reflection so you don’t have to rely on memory alone! These readings are available in person within the Omaha metro area or virtually. Virtual readings consist of photos and a voice recording accompaniment.
I do not perform readings about people that are not present to give consent for the reading.
Readings need to flow naturally. Sometimes some elements of a reading may be mysterious at the time they are given but tend to make more sense after a few days. However, if the first card doesn’t click, I will try again with another deck. If it still isn’t working, you will not be charged and we could try again at a later date.
The value of a Tarot reading, and what you are paying good money for, is not 100% accurate predictions (because the future is fluid and changeable) but rather the unbiased third-party observations which afford a unique lens through which to view your situation (often leading to fresh insights), and perhaps more importantly, the safe space I provide for you to explore your experience with my undivided attention and unconditional compassion.
